The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Fair condition. Overall with the typical minor kiln flaws, in the making, including irregularities in the glaze and bodies. Overall with the expected light scratches, scuffs and rubbing commensurate with age and handling. Some chips, as to be expected with age and use. The tallest and one of the two shortest crocks each also with a minor Y-shaped hairline crack to its underside, not visible when the crock is placed.
