A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The glaze is in good condition, with a colour run to the green pigment as is typical for pottery of this period. One side of the dish has been broken and repaired from fragments, which is more visible on the reverse than the face. There is light chipping to the rim. To the base are three stickers, two with old collection numbers, and one with a note. A wire mount has been added to the back for display purposes.
