The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Canvas, stretcher and attachments are in good condition. Work seen within its frame. Minor craquelure to the upper left and in places to the lower half that are stabilised. Pin point holes to the upper center and to the face. Pinpoint area of canvas weave separation in places to the upper half, and along the periphery of the figurative composition. When examined under ultraviolet light, small areas of retouching visible in places throughout, predominately to the corners and peripheries. Subject to the foregoing, it is in our opinion that the work is in generally good condition.
