The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Canvas, stretcher and attachments are in good condition. Work seen within its frame. There is a layer of varnish. Canvas undulates. Some rubbing along the edges. Very minor rubbing to the right and central composition. Pinpoint accretion to the lower right and minor hairling abrasion to the upper right. When examined under ultraviolet light, one pinpoint area fluoresces to the right half. Subject to the foregoing, it is in our opinion that the work is in generally good condition.
