The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. The canvas undulates slightly. There is some surface dirt in places. There is a very minor loss to the impasto paint to the upper left corner. There is a pinpoint accretion to the yellow aspect of the upper right section. There are some very minor instances of hairline craquelure to the impasto paint to the small red section and to the upper left corner. When examined under ultra-violet light, there is no evidence of inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
