Founded in 1726, Rörstrand porcelain was one of the most famous Swedish porcelain manufacturers and during the 20th century a number of designers and potters were employed to create designs and ceramics. Carl-Harry Stålhane’s career started within Rörstrand, becoming a pupil of the artist Isaac Grünewald. He is particularly known for his stoneware and glazing experiments.
