The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Ink and oil wash on paper. The sheet is secured to the backboard from the reverse by a few tabs of tape at the extreme edges. On very close inspection there appears to be one soft diagonal crease to the upper left quadrant, just visible in the catalogue illustration. On very close inspection there is one tiny abrasion to the upper right quadrant, to the left of the trees. On very close inspection there is one tiny spot of foxing to the centre, just visible in the catalogue illustration. Subject to the above it is our opinion that the work appears to be in overall very good condition.
