The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Ink, watercolour and gouache on paper. The sheet has been secured to a fine supporting sheet, which is hinged with two tabs along the upper edge to the backboard. On close inspection there are artist’s pinholes to each corner. There are minor surface scuffs to the upper left quadrant, visible in the catalogue illustration. When examined out of the mount there appears to be some light fading, mainly visible at the vertical edges. Subject to the above it is our opinion that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
