Single Book as Nature

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Book, spray paint and plaster on canvas laid on board. The are some fine lines of cracking to the plaster in places with some associated small losses. Some wear and associated losses to the book, likely from the time of execution and consistent with the nature of the medium. Some surface dirt. Examined under ultra-violet light: there are one or two small spots of fluorescence in places around the edges of the canvas, which seem to relate to nail heads securing the canvas in place.
