The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Polished steel on a slate base. The two elements turn smoothly in their fitting inside the slate base. Some fine surface abrasions to the polished steel and some pinpoint irregularities to the polished steel. The narrower element with a fine surface scratch along the upper edge. The slate base with one or two tiny chips and losses. Subject to the above it is our opinion that the work appears to be in overall very good condition.
