The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Oil on canvas, unframed. One or two nail heads along the edges which have been painted over by the artist and several artist's pinholes at various places along each edge. Some small scuffs and associated losses to the extreme edges, consistent with handling. On close inspection there is a very small surface crack to the upper left of the cross formation. Some spots of surface dirt in several places. Examined under ultra-violet light there are no visible signs of fluorescence. Subject to the above it is our opinion that the work appears to be in overall very good condition.
