The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall good condition with light surface scratches, nicks and minor wear consistent with age and use. The sensitively re-varnished wood surfaces with minor abrasions, drying cracks and small losses to the veneer, concentrated to the curves on the back. Some cracks filled and stabilized. One U-shaped wooden element added under the seat to strengthen the structure. Some wear, oxidation and light tarnishing to the brass elements. The later upholstery in very good condition with minor wear. Overall a beautiful piece, ready for display and use.
