The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall good condition with minor wear and light soiling commensurate with age and use. The knotted wool pile is full and thick, with only scattered areas of flattened pile, as to be expected from normal use. There are several small historic repairs to holes, and scattered rewoven areas along the edges. The reverse with remnants of a manufacturer's label. Along the edge of the reverse is an oval-shaped area of discoloration, not visible from the front. The rug presents slightly out of round between 73¹⁄₂ in. (186.7 cm) and 74¹⁄₂ in. (189.2 cm) diameter. Presents well and ready for display.
