The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall good condition with light wear. Scattered minor abrasions and scratches to metal base, consistent with age and use. Front side with ¹⁄₂ in. scratch exposing metal beneath the patina and 1 in. area of loss to patination, only visible in raking light.

This clock has been reviewed by a professional horologist and the french cylinder works were found to be a superior example and in good working condition.
