The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall good condition with scattered tiny stains and loose threads commensurate with age and use. Two minor tears between woven blocks (largest is approximately 2 in.), not visually distracting and in good condition. Small area presents with a historic reweaving (approximately 2 x 2 in.), not visually distracting and in stable condition. Selvedge presents with heavy wear, as to be expected from normal use. Area along the selvedge (approximately 51⁄2 in.) has been rewoven at some point in the history of the carpet and is in good, stable condition. Presents well, ready for use and display.
