The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall good condition with light surface scratches and minor wear. The shades are well matched with a pale gold tone and iridized lavender light blue overtones while unlit and a rich amber glow when illuminated. The glass presents with minor inclusions and some surface irregularities inherent in the making, including one shade with a more prominent fold in the glass. One shade with white paint along the outer rim (approximately ¹⁄₂ x ¹⁄₄ in.). One shade with an area of adhesive residue, likely from a prior label, along the middle of the body (approximately ¹⁄₂ x ¹⁄₄ in.). The shades in good condition with very faint scratches and minor wear concentrated to the upper rim, not visible when set in place.

The base with a dark brown patina with red and green overtones that appears to be original. The metal surfaces with minor wear, scratches, abrasions and scattered areas of light oxidation typical with aging of this material. Very minor areas where the patina has worn off. With period porcelain sockets.
