The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall good condition commensurate with age and gentle use. The shades present with rich amber tones when illuminated. While unlit, the pale gold shades present with lavender and blue iridescent overtones. The glass presents with minor inclusions and air bubbles inherent in the making. Two shades with light adhesive residue likely from a prior label. One shade twice marked L.C.T..
The base with a reddish brown patina a green overtones. The patina has possibly been enhanced at some point in the history of the piece. The metal surfaces with light scratches, minor abrasions and scattered areas of light oxidation typical with aging of this material. With minor dirt to recessed areas. One screw along the baseplate without its head, stable. The lamp has fifteen period porcelain sockets and three replaced modern sockets. The lily pad switch in good working condition.
