Overall good condition consistent with age and gentle handling. The bronze surface with light scratches, minor wear and scattered areas of oxidation as can be expected with aging of this material. The patina with areas of minor wear and loss concentrated to the extremities. Roman joint with pin, consequential patch likely from the time of cast. The bow near the archer's hand with evidence of joinery to the separately cast parts, typical of early casts. Along the tip of the bow with a ¹⁄₄ in. hairline scratch.
