The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
An attractive and scarce example with light surface scratches and wear commensurate with age and handling. Occasional minor areas of veneer losses along the edges, including one 11⁄4 x 11⁄4 in. loss to the veneer along the proper left top back corner and 1⁄4 x 3⁄4 in. loss to the top corner of the inside of the proper left door. Wood with scattered areas of restoration and infill, including one 11⁄2 x 3⁄4 in. area along the proper right top back corner and one 71⁄2 x 11⁄2 in. restoration along the proper left side in a diamond-shaped veneer with a noticeably darker stain. With three stable, restored cracks to the wood measuring 1 x 5 in. to the proper right door, 23⁄8 in. along the proper right side and 1 in. long on the proper left side. The top of the wardrobe presents a recess of matching size and dimension with other wardrobes by the artist to allow for two units to be secured together. Two handles to the doors with a woodgrain separation running across the center. The wardrobe presents with eight shelves, some with minor loss to the veneer and scattered areas of infill. Overall, an attractive example of good scale and presence.
