The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall good condition commensurate with age and use. The glass shade presents with an iridized surface and shade in merigold and purple hues when unlit. When illuminated, the shade with a rich orange tone. The glass with minor air bubbles and inclusions inherent in the making. The glass with light surface scratches, some dirt and minor wear concentrated to the mouth rim where the metal hardware rests. The mouth rim with minor chips, not visible when set in place, and a few consequential light hairlines extending. Scratch inventory number along the top of the mouth rim of the shade. The base set on five feet with a worn gilt finish. The metal surfaces with light scratches, wear, minor nicks, dirt to recessed areas, and scattered areas of oxidation as can be expected with aging of this material. Spring appears slightly loose. With replaced GE Co. socket and paddle switch.
