The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall good condition consistent with age and gentle use. The shade presents with a richly iridized surface in tones of amber and purple. The glass with minor inclusions inherent in the making. The glass with light surface scratches, dirt to recessed areas, and minor wear concentrated to the mouth rim where the metal hardware rests. With minor chips along the mouth rim, not visible when in place. Remnants of a label along the interior of the shade. Minor surface irregularities along the interior of the shade near the outer rim, possibly in the making. The base presents with a worn gilt 'dore' finish. The metal surfaces with light surface scratches, minor wear, and scattered areas of oxidation as can be expected with aging of this material. With replaced socket and paddle switch. Two screws missing.
