The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall good condition commensurate with age and use. The glass tiles present with brilliant iridescence. The glass with a few minute inclusions and very minor air bubbles inherent in the making. With a few faint surface scratches, very minor edge wear and light surface soiling concentrated to the recessed areas, typical with aging of this material. The glass tiles with a few scattered cracks, stable. Some tiles with a few minor white paint drips. A few tiles concentrated along the central floral design with devitrification inherent in the making and with a few minute associated surface losses. One square blue tile with a minor crack (approx. 1 in. long) and an associated loss (approx. ¹⁄₈ in.). The widow with some minor bowing in areas as to be expected from a window of this size. The lead caming with very minor edge wear and oxidation throughout. A monumental and mesmerizing example.
