The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Chrome-plated steel presents with moderate soiling throughout and scattered minor abrasions, concentrated to the feet, as to be expected from normal use. Loss to the chrome plating to the proper left front foot and with subsequent peeling. Steel frame with a few lines, concentrated to the joins of the seat. Metal ashtray is a later replacement and presents in very good condition with light soiling to the interior and one small pit mark to the lip rim. Wood armrests present with many scratches concentrated to the extreme edges. Screws appear to be later replacements and present very well. Faux leather upholstery has be replaced at some point in the history of the chair and presents with many stress lines, concentrated to the seat, and three tears (longest is approximately 10 in.). Presents with wear and rubbing to the upper edge of the chair back, consistent with normal use.
