The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall good condition with scattered surface scratches consistent with age and use. Cast iron presents with light wear, concentrated to the extreme edges. Gilt bronze wing with scattered minor nicks, scratches, and rubbing and subsequent small losses to the gilt surface, commensurate with age. Inset bowl likely historically lacquered black and appears to have been historically clean, presenting with a few scattered remnants of the lacquer. Furthermore, with heavy scratches and soiling, as to be expected with age and normal use. The base with later felt pad affixed, not visible when presented. Presents well, ready for use and display.
