Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall very good condition with a few scattered light surface scratches and minor wear commensurate with age and gentle use. The wood surfaces have been historically re-varnished and with minor nicks and abrasions concentrated to the edges with scattered historic restorations, areas of touch up and infill, and stabilization to joints as needed, only visible upon close inspection. The replaced upholstery in fine condition with light surface dirt and some loose threads. The seat cushion with fading, presenting purple on one side and blue on the other. The back cushion held in place by two metal clips presents with some fading with the same purple in the recessed areas. Presents well and ready for display.
