The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall good condition with scattered surface scratches and minor wear commensurate with age. The wood have been re-varnished and with minor nicks and abrasions concentrated to the edges. Each chair stabilized with four blocks to the underside of the seat. The side chair's back legs have been stabilized with brass L-brackets where they meet the seat on the back legs. The front stretcher has been reattached at both edges and overpainted. The front proper left leg is loose and would benefit from professional conservation. One armchair with more visible wear to the front stretcher. The updated upholstery in very good condition with very light surface dirt, minor soiling and scattered areas of light discoloration only visible upon close inspection.
