The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall good condition. The piece presents with very minor soiling and wear, commensurate with age and use. The lacquered wood surfaces present with scattered scratches, concentrated to the tabletop as expected from normal use. With a more noticeable scratch on the base (approximately 4 in. long) and a minor chip to the lacquer. The brass elements present with even tarnishing and minor oxidation marks, typical with aging of this material and not detracting to the overall appearance. The piece presents well, ready for display and use.
