Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall good condition. The piece presents with superficial soiling and wear commensurate with age and use. With scattered areas of touch up to the painted surfaces. The painted aluminum shades present with surface scratches, paint splatters and minor paint losses. The brass structure presents with natural and even tarnishing, with minor oxidation marks throughout, typical with aging of this material and not detracting to the overall appearance. With a bruising area to the base. The plug for floor lamp tubular structure lacking, yet not detracting to the overall appearance. The piece presents well, ready for display and use.
Please note that while the lamp appears to be in working condition, Christie's does not guarantee the functionality of the electrical components.
