FURTHER DETAILS
Gundorph Albertus was the art director of Georg Jensen Silversmithy from 1926-1954. Albertus as a graduate of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, drew from his background as a trained sculptor when producing designs for the important Danish silver workshop. The 'Kactus' (Cactus) was his debut pattern, drawing inspiration from natural forms coupled with an abstract vision.
