Overall excellent condition. The piece presents with very minor superficial soiling and wear, concentrated to the top, as expected from normal use. The top also with scattered areas of discoloration and one ring mark. The parchment with variations in tone throughout, inherent to the material. The patinated bronze elements with scattered minor marks and irregularities, inherent to the making and not visually distracting. Some loose bronze elements on the sides have been professionally reattached. The piece presents well, ready for display and use.
