The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall good condition commensurate with age and gentle handling. The paper hinged along the top edge in four places to the mat backing. With a few minute pinpoints of foxing scattered throughout. Slight toning to paper as can be seen where the matting rests along the corners. The bottom edge with a few tears, the largest 1¹⁄₂ in. long, historically repaired, covered by the matting. The lower right margin with minor graphite inscriptions from a later date 23¹⁄₄ x 30 / 30 x 36 / W200 / 72352-9 / 40.00, also covered by the matting and not visible when framed.
