Overall good condition with light wear. Scattered minor abrasions and scratches to metal base, consistent with age and use. Front side with 1⁄2 in. scratch exposing metal beneath the patina and 1 in. area of loss to patination, only visible in raking light.
This clock has been reviewed by a professional horologist and the french cylinder works were found to be a superior example and in good working condition.
