Two Pins, circa 1940

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall good condition.

Pin with clover decoration in good condition. Gold decoration with scratches throughout revealing blue glaze beneath. With scattered small chips at the high points exposing the ceramic, only visible upon very close inspection. Ceramic presents with wear to the extreme edge. Metal back in good condition with minor wear and light abrasions. Pin appears to have been re-soldered at some point and is in good, functioning condition.

Pin with reindeer decoration in good condition. Two corners with losses to the ceramic (largest is approximately ¹⁄₄ x ¹⁄₈ in.), does not detract from the overall presentation. The upper right corner presents with a diagonal break, appears to be stable. Metal backing in good condition. Easel-back clip fastener is slightly loose and could benefit from professional treatment.
