The two-part cloth-covered box spring with soiling, small tears and fraying throughout. Each part of the box spring is 121⁄2 x 871⁄2 x 351⁄2 in. The screen with scattered surface scratches, stains, minor dents, minor losses and the occasional paint loss, commensurate with age and not detracting to the overall appearance. With scattered minor historic paint touch ups, well-concealed. The lithograph with scattered minor losses. The metal rivets with oxidation typical with aging of this material. The silk back with minor stains and fraying. The hinges with a few lacking screws, yet stable.
