Overall good condition with very minor scratches throughout commensurate with age and use. Chromed steel to each andiron with scattered minor marks, consistent with normal handling. One andiron's front chromed plate slightly out of line, only visible when viewing overhead. The other andiron with a small loss to the upper proper left corner (approximately ¹⁄₄ x ¹⁄₈ in.). The same andiron with a patch of deeper starches along the right edge. Both andirons with scattered losses to the lacquer, concentrated to the extreme edges, not visually distracting. Each presents with areas of pitting to the metal under the lacquer, only visible upon very close inspection. Presents well.
