The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall fair condition. Good full pile and good color retention. Minor wear scattered. An old glue backing covers the entire underside of the carpet causing the structure to be dry with multiple slits. Slits are especially noticeable in the lower left corner, along the left side and in the lower right corner. Crease in left center field three to four feet long that needs professional attention. Minor stain in upper right medallion, the size of a quarter. Small crease in lower right corner. Color variation in the light browns, most visible in the outermost solid border. Lower right corner partial and missing 1-2 rows of knots (8 inches long). Sides are re-bound. Ends appear to be original. Please contact the department for potential conservation plan.
