Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall good condition. Each tabletop with very minor scattered surface scratches, the top-most surface with an additional concentrated area of scratches (approximately 4 in.). With wear and rubbing to the extreme edges, as to be expected with consistent stacking. One piece of veneer has been sensitively and professionally stabilized and presents with a diagonal vertical line, not visually distracting. Infill (approximately 3⁄4 in.) to the smallest nesting table edge. Hinges glides smoothly. A handsome and iconic design by a master of French Art Deco, presents well and ready for use.
