The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall good condition with a few light surface scratches commensurate with age and gentle handling. The lower body of the vase with two abraded areas and consequential surface marks (one 1 x 1 in.; the other 2 x 1 in.). The lower body with a minor nick to the glazed surface (¹⁄₈ x ¹⁄₈ in.) and a point of impact (¹⁄₈ x ¹⁄₄ in.) with some minute (less than ¹⁄₈ in.) consequential losses to the glaze, only visible upon very close inspection. Overall presents well and ready for display.
