The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall good condition commensurate with use. The glass with a few minute inclusions and scattered minor air bubbles inherent in the making and not visually distracting. The bronze with minor wear to the patina, minor nicks and abrasions, light surface soiling and minor oxidation concentrated to the recessed areas, typical with aging of this material. The wood with faint surface scratches and minor abrasions. The paper with light foxing and minor discoloration. The letter opener with minor wear at the joint where the handle meets the blade. The pen wipe brush with minor wear and soiling, as to be expected with age and use. The largest blotter ends with a later soldered extension (approx. 6 1/4 in. long). Presents well, ready for use and display.
