The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall good condition. The piece presents with superficial soiling and wear, commensurate with age and use. The walnut surfaces present with scattered scratches, minor nicks and losses, particularly along the edges. The burl wood surfaces have been later covered with a protective varnish. The brass surfaces present with tarnishing, oxidation marks and rings stains, typical with aging of this material and consistent with gentle use. Some lifting to the brass edge along the longer sides of the table. The brass center inset presents with separations to some corners and historic repairs. The piece presents well, ready for display and use.
