The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The panel is structurally sound.
There is minor scattered craquelure to the heavy impasto. When examined under ultra-violet light there is a minor retouching to the upper left near the corner, a minor retouching to the centre left, a minor linear retouching to the centre right near the vertical edge and a pinpoint retouching to the lower centre on the chair.
Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally good condition
