The canvases, stretchers and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. There are minor losses in places to the artist's frame and some media splashes to the upper edge of the frame. The canvas undulates slightly, most visible to the upper left quadrants of elements (i) and (ii). There are some minor drying cracks in places, predominantly to the red passage in the lower left quadrant of element (iii). When examined under ultraviolet light, there is no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
