The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. There is some minor rubbing to the upper left corner. There is a pinpoint accretion to the black impasto peak in the lower centre. When examined under ultraviolet light, there is no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
