The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. There are minor tension cracks to the turnover edges with scattered pinpoint associated paint losses, primarily to the corners. There is a linear media mark to the centre of the right vertical edge. There are some minute paint losses to the centre of the composition, the largest in the circular form. There is a minor linear abrasion with associated paint loss in the lower left quadrant near the vertical edge. There is some minor rubbing and pinpoint accretions near the lower horizontal edge. When examined under ultraviolet light, there is no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
