The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Not examined out of frame. The sheet appears to be hinged on the reverse to the underlying board. The horizontal and left vertical edges of the sheet are deckled. There are minor undulations, soft creases and minor tears in places, presumably in keeping with the artist’s chosen medium and working method. There appears to be a minor loss to the paper to the upper horizontal edge near the right corner. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
