The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged in places on the reverse to its underlying support with some light glue staining near the lower horizontal edge. There are scattered creases, presumably in keeping with the artist's chosen medium. There are some repaired tears to upper and lower right corners, the largest to the lower right corner measuring approx. 2³⁄₄in. in length. There are pinpoint losses to the paper near the lower right horizontal edge and left upper horizontal edge. There are some minor bumps to the upper and lower horizontal edges with associated minor tears and a minor loss to the paper near the lower left corner. There are some pinpoint media splashes and some minor rubbing in places. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
