The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The work is not framed. Lacquer layer is in very good condition, colours are fresh and vibrant. Faint lines of scratch marks across the composition, which is consistent with the composition. Signs of slight cracking and chipping visible on all four corners. Minor signs of abrasion above the infant’s hands. Otherwise, board is in good condition with no cracks or warping. When examined under UV light, no retouching is apparent. Overall, it is in our opinion that the work is in good condition.
