The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work has been inspected inside its frame, hence the back and sides could not be checked due to its framing status.
Canvas is clear and taut and in very good condition.
The colours are fresh and vibrant. One small area of very fine hairline craquelure at the upper left quadrant, measuring approximately 3 cm in diameter, which is only visible on close inspection and does not affect the overall appreciation of the artwork.
When examined under UV light, no retouching is apparent. Overall, it is in our opinion that the work is in good condition.
