The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work has been inspected inside the frame, and therefore back and sides could not be checked due to framing status.
Canvas is clear and taut and in very good condition.
One very fine hairline craquelure observed in the impasto of the lower white tulip on the left side of the bouquet only visible on close inspection, which does not affect the overall appreciation of the artwork. Otherwise, paint layer is in good and stable condition, and colours are fresh and vibrant.
When examined under UV light, no retouching is apparent.
Overall, it is in our opinion that the work is in good condition.
