The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work has been inspected inside its frame, and therefore back and sides could not be checked.
Small flecks of paint brush hair observed to be fixed to the painting surface, which is consistent with the artist’s technique. Otherwise, canvas is clear and taut, and in very good condition.
Pigment layer is in very good condition.
When examined under UV light, no retouching is apparent.
Overall, it is in our opinion that the work is in very good condition.
